În centrul creaţiei mele se află omul. El este cel care mă interesează cel mai mult. În majoritatea lucrărilor mele ilustrez un singur personaj. În universul pe care il explorez, omul este de cele mai multe ori singur, înconjurat de lumea lui secretă, dominată de dorinţe şi melancolii. Personajul apare ca o siluetă de-formată şi apoi re-formată, prin alungiri, pentru a-i exprima direcţiile lui interioare. În lumea lui, personajul meu gusta voluptatea singurătăţii şi întinde o mană spre obiectul dorinţei lui, pe care îl poate atinge doar în interiorul propriei intimităţi. Lucrările mele sunt bucăţi dintr-o lume în care mă refugiez.

The “human” is the center of my activity. The man is the theme I’m interested most in.

In most of my works I portray only one character. In the universe I explore, the man is alone most of the time, surrounded by his secret world, dominated by desires and a deep melancholy. The character appears as a de-formed and then re-formed silhouette by lengthening his body, in order to express his interior directions. In his world, my character tastes the voluptuousness of being lonely and he reaches a hand towards the object of his desire, which he can only touch inside his intimacy. My works are pieces of a world where I seek for refuge.
